Attempt at High Key & Low Key Protraits

Postby guru_rb » Sun Jul 25, 2010 11:13 am

Hi All,

Got myself some lighting accessories and have been practicing what Prem had taught in the workshop last year.

Here is an attempt at High Key and Low Key portraits. Please let me know what you think of the lighting (Flash fired through umbrella from Camera left)

This one had a silver reflector to camera right.

1. Fantastic Models! :D
2. Second one has come out really well, IMO...
3. On the first one, the silver reflector doesnt seem to have done well enough... some avoidable shadows on that half...

All the best for the future experiments...

Take care,
Vasu.

Thanks Arvind, Vasu & Sanju for stopping by & commenting.

@Vasu - When I placed the reflector very close, lighting looked rather flat with no shadows. So I moved it a little away to reduce the reflected light :?

I actually kinda liked the effect
